Both died in what is now Hale County, Alabama.  However, Hale County, Alabama wasn't formed till about 1867.  For information about relatives before that time, you must check with all the counties that were used to form Hale County.The counties are:  Greene, Perry, Marengo, and Tuscaloosa. Since it looks like Reece may have moved onto the Hezekiah Gray farm in Elbert County when Hezekiah moved away, I'm looking into the possibility that Reece was a grandson of Hezekiah.
